Product Introduction
Recycled polyester spun yarn is made from 100% waste PET and post-consumer PET bottles (flakes). Recycled polyester yarn, also known as r-PET, is obtained by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber. Another good choice for diverting plastics from landfills and producing recycled polyester requires far fewer resources than new fibers and generates fewer carbon dioxide emissions.
Core features and Advantages
1. Environmentally friendly & sustainable: Made from 100% recycled PSF (polyester staple fiber), sourced from recycled PET bottles and waste textiles, meeting the requirements of GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certification.
2. The yarn exhibits stable strength and excellent spinning performance: it has fewer fibers protruding from the surface and uniform yarn evenness, making it suitable for various processes such as ring spinning, Siro spinning, and open-end spinning.
3. The cost is more competitive than virgin polyester: the raw materials come from recycled resources, resulting in a more stable price and better value for money compared to virgin fibers, which helps customers increase their profit margins.
4. Wide range of applications:Knitting: T-shirts, sportswear, sweaters;Weaving: fabric, home textiles;Socks;Gloves;Sewing thread;Blankets, carpets
5. Available in multiple colors (more flexible than virgin fibers):
Recycled polyester yarn is typically available in the following colors:
Raw white; Black; Grey; Colored (custom colors available upon request)
6 Excellent wear resistance and durability: stable anti-pilling performance, wear-resistant, washable, good shape retention, and not easily deformed.
7 Low carbon emissions: Compared to virgin polyester, it reduces carbon emissions.
